Community Hubs – also known as hybrid buildings – bring together multiple services and generations in one accessible, community-centred development. They increase neighbourhood appeal, foster interaction, and offer a practical solution for addressing the needs of an ageing population.

Rinnekodit Lumous Care Home, Oulu
A HYVÄN OLON care home designed to accommodate 60 residents, offering 24/7 assisted living for older residents. The design balances safe, cosy apartments with shared social spaces, and a green courtyard that supports wellbeing. The project was delivered responsibly, meeting strict BREEAM environmental standards.
Sunshine Early Learning Centre, Tampere
A HYVÄN OLON daycare centre with a capacity of 100 children, located in the landmark Ranta-Tampella district. Designed as a safe, healthy, and sustainable learning environment for children, with a strong emphasis on indoor air quality and staff wellbeing.
Supported Housing Unit, Salo
A HYVÄN OLON supported housing facility and school for up to 14 residents aged 10–17 who are in the care of child welfare services. Tailored to the client’s needs, it combines safety with innovative automated solutions and a home-like atmosphere.
